"Early Claymore"- "The Wallace Sword" William Wallace and his band of lowland scots routed an English force of 50,000 at Stirling Castle in 1297. This impressive sword with it's straight steel cross quard is a predecessor to the later Claymore that had the downsloping guard that developed in the late 15th century. The legend of William Wallace will continue to live on with this sword. Made of strong high carbon spring steel with a full tang for durability.

You may wonder why this sword is priced a little more than some other Wallace swords, well it's because of the solid steel parts (NOT soft brass with plating), the FULL tang construction, the contoured wooden handle, and it's the only one that comes complete will a full leather scabbard.
