What "COLD STEEL" states about their new sword --

Few swords are more intimidating or more effective than the two-handed Chinese War Sword. Its huge, wide blade will shear through armor as if it were butter, not to mention mere flesh and bones. There is nothing clumsy or awkward about this sword. Its 14" cord wrapped grip, "S" shaped guard, and steel ring pommel all work in concert to make it a well balanced weapon that's unbelievably fast and agile.

This is a very robust sword, and the blade has a nice polish. This sword has an empowering emotional effect on the holder. If I may use a bad analogy, it's like holding a 44 Magnum and knowing it will penetrate anything you aim at. You hold this sword and you get the feeling that it will penetrate anything you swing at. Now, as we know, a 44 Magnum won't penetrate everything and neither will this sword, but it's a feeling you get from the weight and balance. The fit and finish is very good and the sword is accompanied by a beautiful embossed two-tone leather scabbard that's one of the best we have seen. If you're looking for a sword of this type, you will not be disappointed.
